Bio

Orlando Betencor has been an assistant coach with Evergreen Valley College soccer programs since 2015. He is currently training the women's goalkeepers.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from PennWest California university in Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Notre Dame de Namur University.

Betencor has also obtained the NSCAA Premier Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, and Advanced National Goalkeeper Diploma in his coaching education.

As a soccer player, Betencor played goalkeeper for De Anza College and Notre Dame De Namur University, where he was named All Far-West Regional selection and all-conference selection for the Pac-West Division II Conference.

In addition to coaching at Evergreen Valley College, Betencor has been the Head Coach at Silver Creek High School since 2015 and is presently coaching the girls' varsity soccer program.
